  1. Rolls Royce Ltd was a car and airplane engine manufacturing company founded by Charles Stewart Rolls and Fredrick Henry Royce.
  2. They launched Silver Ghost in 1906 and it ran continuously for a record 24,000 kms.
  3. The air conditioning in a Rolls-Royce has the cooling power of at least 30 domestic refrigerators.
  4. The Rolls-Royce radiator grille is made entirely by hand and eye - no measuring instruments are used.
  5. Rolls-Royce Motors was purchased by BMW in 1998 and built a Roll-Royce factory in Greenwood, England.
  6. The Rolls-Royce Phantom was introduced in 2003 and is the first incarnation of the new generation of Rolls-Royce cars under BMW. 
  7. Customers can choose from 44,000 colours for the Phantom.
  8. It takes over 800 man-hours to make the body of a Phantom VI.
