1. Kapil is a talented singer and is all set to release his first music album.
2. His first film ( which will release this year) is Anees Bazmee's It's My Life.
3. He participated in comedy shows Ustaadon ke Ustad.
4. He was also the host of the comedy show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge".
5. K9 productions is the production company responsible for the show and it is owned by Kapil Sharma.
6. In a tragic turn of events, the entire set caught fire and everything was destroyed.
7. 2 dogs were rescued during the fire and they now have shelters close to the new set. 
8. Sunil Grover, the actor playing 'Gutthi' in the show left the due to creative diffrences.
